In the NBA, this record is held by Wilt Chamberlain. He scored 100 points on March 2, 1962.

Outside of the NBA the record is different. Here is more information from others:

  • Bevo Francis of Rio Grande College scored 113 points in one game against Hillsdale College in 1954. This is recognized by the NCAA as the highest one-game total ever (all divisions). Frank Selvy of Furman (division one) scored 100 points in one game against a division two school.

  • What about Epiphanny Prince's 113 point game? Or Cheryl Miller's 105 point game? Or Sheryl Swoop's 101 point game?

  • Drazen Petrovic scored 116 pts when he was 17 years old in Europe. He then went on to play in the NBA for Portland and New Jersy before he passed away. He revolutionised the game and was one of the pioneers for all international players in the NBA.

  • Erman Kunter (born 1956/Istanbul) scored 1988 in the dress of Fenerbahce Istanbul 153 points, 81 in the first half. I think this ist the Worldrecord.???
