Who was Antoine Lavoisier?

Answer:
He was a French chemist and biologist who lived from August 26, 1743 - May 8, 1794 he is considered the Father of Modern Chemistry. He stated the first version of the law of the conservation of mass, discovered and named oxygen, and hydrogen. He eliminated the phlogiston theory, introduced the metic system and wrote the first extensive list of elements. Lavoisier was different to all the scientists of his time because he introduced quantitative chemistry (chemistry with accurate measurements). He worked on the combustion of phosphorous and sulfur.
