Aphrodite (known as Venus in Roman mythology) was the goddess of love and beauty in Greek Mythology. Her symbol is the dove. She was married to Hephaestus, the blacksmith god, though she often has affairs. Her son was Eros, in Roman mythology named Cupid. She has two different stories about her birth. On one hand she was born from sea foam. On the other hand she was born to Zeus and Dione. The greek goddess of love and beaty. She was married to Hephaestus but she loves Ares the God of War. Aphrodite was the goddess of love. And she has two different stories. On one hand she was born from sea foam and married a man named Hephaestus. And another was when she was born to Zeus and Dione. In that story she either fought with another goddess,Persephone, for Adonis. And the other she married Ares. But Aphrodite is still mostly a mystery.
