∙ 12y ago"Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God."(NIV Genesis 6:9) Because of this, God arranged a way of salvation for faithful Noah and his family, when He brought to ruin the wicked world around them(Genesis 6:5-11). Because humanity had become 'only bad all the time', God determined to bring a worldwide flood to destroy all life on earth, commanding Noah to build an ARK that would hold him and his family, along with representative animals from the earth(Genesis 6:13-21). The 'Ark' was basically a HUGE chest (box), three stories high, and measuring: 133.5 m x 22.3 m x 13.4 m (or 437 ft 6 in. × 72 ft 11 in. × 43 ft 9 in.), made of 'gopher wood' (a resinous wood), covered with tar, and designed to do nothing by float. As usual, "Noah did everything just as God commanded him"(NIV Genesis 6:22) and was saved for his obedience. In this, he sets an example for humanity throughout history, and especially for us today (2Peter 3:5-7; 2:5+6; Isaiah 54:9; Ezekiel 14:14+20; Matthew 24:37-39; Hebrews 11:7; 1Peter 3:20+21).

∙ 11y agoThe prophet Noah is one guy that was incredible. Prophet Noah is a person who built a great ark for everyone to ride in, including animals! Now he built that ark because there was a severe storm conjured up by Allah(God). Some people stayed behind like prophet Noah's wife and daughter because they did not believe in Allah(god). When the storm came, it swept the ark into the water and killed the rest that were on land. The ark went day after day in the sea until it finally reached land that was empty and all people and animals were living happy and safely on the land.
