David P. Roberts, an unassuming Brit, was Whitney Houston's real life Bodyguard for eight years, during the time Whitney rose to international fame until her career altered dramatically.

He is legendary in the professional bodyguard business and is known as the 'Bodyguard's Bodyguard'.

David Roberts graduated with honors from the British Royal Air Force Police Academy and served in the Royal Air Force Police, with distinction.

He then joined the British Police Force and served in the North Wales Police before transferring to New Scotland Yard, having passed all examinations through to the rank of Inspector.

David became a marksman with the Metropolitan Police firearms Unit. On leaving Government service David formed a number of successful security companies in London, England.
