Who ever answered this question is pretty much mis-informed. Mark Kelly did not move out for several months after his divorce in 2005, he was seeing Gabby long before she was seeing someone else and they were never "separated" before the divorce. The only truth in the other answer is he did meet Gabby in 2003 and has 2 daughters from his former wife. People shouldn't answer personal questions about people that they do not know or know the answer to.

∙ 12y agoThe specific details of Mark Kelly's divorce from his first wife, Amelia Victoria Babis, are not known. Mark met Congressman Gabby Giffords (who he later married) in China in 2003. At the time, Mark was still married to his first wife. Mark and Gabby did not go on their first date until a year later.
Mark has two daughters from his first marriage. He and Amelia divorced in October 2004 and he officially moved out of his family's home in 2005. He married Giffords in November 2007.
