∙ 12y agoSara Teasdale was not only the first woman to win a Pulitzer Prize for her poetry, but also the first Prize recipient in that category. She was awarded the Pulitzer in 1918 for her collection, Love Songs. The Poetry Society provided a grant to support the this category in 1918-1920.
