After Christ died and was resurrected, the people eventually rejected all his apostles. The true and pure gospel of Christ was lost. Which brings us to. . .
2.) Joseph Smith was a young boy chosen by God and Jesus Christ to restore the gospel that was lost since the time of the original apostles. He restored the Church of Jesus Christ in these latter days.
