Who was the oldest candidate to run for US President?

[Edit]
Original Answer- John McCain.

Actually, Mike Gravel is older (b. 1930) than John McCain (b. 1936). Ron Paul (b. 1935) is actually older as well, but Gravel has him by a few years.
