The British Library online has a water colour by G F Lamb dated 1890 of a fortress in India. I too have one of his water colours which my great great grandfather bought on his travels to the East, a scene in the Himalayas. I'd love to find out more about him or her too. gavin@bacon.net

There is a Christian Artist who died on November 19th, 2011 named Charles F. Humphrey. His obit is in the Dallas Morning News. It says"...spent most of his life living his dream of being a Christian Artist.He and his son Jay were owners of Charles F. Humphrey and associates who were suppliers for many years to Mary Crowley's Home Interiors and Gifts." Mary Crowley was "Mary K" of cosmetics fame I think.
