Who were the Allies and Central Powers in World War I?

Allies: the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Italy, Russia, Serbia, Japan
Central Powers: Germany (Second Reich), Austria-Hungary, the Ottoman Empire

Note: Russia withdrew from the War on account of the Russian Revolution in 1917. The United States only joined the War in 1917.
In world war 1 the central powers were Germany, Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman empire. The allies where The British empire, France, Russia and later the United states.
