Alexander Kerensky, among others, for the Provisional Government. Tsar Nicholas II was not part of this revolution at all since he had been put out of power eight months earlier in the first part of the Russian Revolution, the February Revolution.

At the time of the Russian Revolution in October 1917, the three main leaders of the Bolsheviks were Vladimir Lenin, Leon Trotsky and you can take your pick from a list of Grigori Zinoviev, Lev Kamenev and Joseph Stalin depending on the time in question. Stalin was not what one would call the number three man before the revolution and Trotsky was not even a Bolshevik until shortly before the Revolution when he switched allegiance from the Mensheviks to the Bolsheviks.
