pitbulls fight because they feel it pleases their "owner" so really all your doing is taking advantage of your dogs love and need for approval from you...when the only time the poor dog gets any love and affection and most of the time food is when it wins a fight they learn to fight. Forcing any animal to fight is a cruel and barbaric non sport and you should feel ashamed for even caring who would win a dog fight

∙ 14y agoIn a straight race the pit bull is more nimble so it is likely to win. In a longer race the mastiff would have more stamina. The mastiff is also more intelligent than a pit bull so would win any contest in that area.
