The tigers are smaller than elephants. We have seen a pride of African lions attacking large and big animals such as giraffes and African elephants. The tigers never face-off with a African elephant. But they encounter Asian elephants, which are smaller. In Corbett National Park the tigers are known to kill a bull Asian elephant alone. If these tigers were social they would annually prey upon elephants. The Siberian tiger which is much larger than the Indian tiger. They can easily bring down an bull Asian elephant. Imagine if they were social they can also easily bring down an African bull elephant. So the the tigers surely can win against a elephant.
