Who wrote Alice's Adventures In Wonderland? |
Short answer:
Lewis CarrollSlightly longer answer:
Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832-1898), an Oxford mathematics professor and amateur photographer, wrote "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" (1865) under the pen name 'Lewis Carroll'. He also wrote "Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There" (1872), "The Hunting of the Snark", and "Sylvie and Bruno".Confusingly, "Alice in Wonderland" is a name which is sometimes used as a shortened form of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and is sometimes used to refer both Alice books, "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There".
