The song 'Thank You (I Won't Complain)' is by Fred Hammond. Some of the lyrics are: 'Oh Lord You have been/ So good to me/ More than this world could ever be/ I really want to thank You/ Lord I won't complain'.
There are many that do; John Kee, Andrae Crough, and Sharon M Jones are a few. Another one is Rev Paul Jones, who sang the song most requested by people at Church functions. Unfortunately, he was murdered at a young age in 1990.
I've noticed that many attribute the writing of this song to the late Rev Paul Jones, but he was not the author of the song "I Won't Complain". Rather, this great gospel song was actually written in 1974 by the late Rev. Don Johnson from Nashville, Tennesse, an ALJC pastor. The correct title to the song is actually "I Can't Complain", but has been changed over time. Very few words have been changed to the Rev. Johnson's song for the version, " I Won't Complain". Please go to You Tube to view Rev. Don Johnson himself singing this beautiful original song, "I Can't Complain"
I've had some good days
I've had some hills to climb
I've had some weary days
And lonely nights
But when I look around
And I think things over
All of my good days
They out weigh my bad days
So I won't complain
Sometimes the clouds are low
I can hardly see the road
I ask the question Lord
Lord, why
Lord why
Why, why, why so much pain?
But the Lord knows what's best for me
Although my weary eyes
Oh they can't see
So I'll just say thank you Lord
Thank you Lord
Thank you Lord
I won't complain
God has been good to me
He's been so good to me
More than this world could ever be
He's been so good
He's been so good
He's been so good
To me
He dried all of my tears away
Turned my midnights into day
So I'll just say thank you Lord
through all of my heartaches
Thank you Lord
Through all of my trials
Thank you Lord
I been misunderstood
But thank you Lord
Even been lied on
But thank you Lord
Body wretched with pain
But thank you Lord
Bills were due
Don't know where the money is coming from
But thank you Lord, thank you Lord
Thank you Lord
I won't complain
God has been good to me
He's been so good to me
More than this world
More than this world
Could ever be (ever be)
He's been so good
He's been so good
To me (He's been just that good)
He dried my tears away
Turned my midnight into day
So I'll just say thank you Lord
Thank you Lord
Thank you Lord
Through all of my trials
I want to say thank you Lord
I been misunderstood
But thank you Lord
Early in the morning
When I wake up I thank you Lord
(Thank you)
You been so good to me
(Thank you)
You opened doors I could not see
(Thank you)
Made a way out of no way
(Thank you)
When I was sick
The doctor said I wouldn't get well
(Thank you)
He healed my body
Now I can say
I just want to say
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you
Nobody like the Lord
(Thank you)
When I think of the goodness of Jesus
(Thank you)
And what he's done for me
(Thank you)
My soul cries out
(Thank you)
Thank you Jesus
Thank you Jesus
Thank you Jesus
You saved me
Santified me
You baptized me
Filled me with the holy ghost
I want to thank you
Nobody like the Lord
Early in the morning
From the rising of the sun
To the downing of the same
Thank you Lord
Thank you Lord
I won't complain
I've had some good days
I've had some hills to climb
I've had some weary days
And some sleepless nightsBut when I look around
And I think things over
All of my good days
Outweigh my bad days
I won't complainSometimes the clouds hang low
I can hardly see the road
I ask a question, Lord
Lord, why so much pain?
But he knows what's best for me
Although my weary eyes
They can't see
So I'll just say thank you Lord
I won't complainThe Lord
Has been so good to me
He's been good to me
More than this old world or you could ever be
He's been so good
To meHe dried all of my tears away
Turned my midnights into day
So I'll just say thank you Lord
I've been lied on
But thank you Lord
I've been talked about
But thank you Lord
I've been misunderstood
But thank you Lord
You might be sick
Body reeking with pain
But thank you Lord
The bills are due
Don't know where the money coming from
But thank you Lord
Thank you Lord
Thank you Lord
I want
I want to thank God
God
God
God
Has been so good to me
He's been good to me
More than this old world or you could ever be
He's been so good
He's been so good
He's been so good
So good
So good
So good
So good
To me
He dried all of my tears away
Turned my midnight into day

Typically women complain more about their partners watching sports. But if you enjoy sports and so does your partner then you wont (which is understandable). But you should try to meet in the middle if you complain about your partner watching sports.
