Someone that I met had a blind puppy and she decided to get a cat for it for company. The cat and dog bonded very quickly and the cat would murmur softly when the dog would wake up and this seemed it calm it down. The kitty would act like a guide to the puppy and it was like kitty knew that the puppy needed help and couldn't see. Kitty would fiercely guard the pup as soon as a visitor arrived and only when the cat had checked out the person, would the kitty let the puppy go near them. Animals are truly amazing creatures with an enormous amount of love to give.
