Leo is a "fire" sign. (July 23 to August 22) Leo's need a lot of attention and they seem to be a drain on their friends and family because they are so needy, and will borrow money from you until you finally cut them off for good. They are loyal, but do not confuse LOYAL with FAITHFUL. Loyal means they will stand-up for the underdog in a fight especially if the underdog is a friend. Faithful means they are not prone to stray, and I don't know any "big kittys" that don't prowl the newest, hottest scenes looking for admirers. If you find a faithful Leo keep them, they are rare. They are prone to addictions which really is difficult on those who love them, and they have firey tempers. They also go through friends like nobody's business when they can't find a use for them anymore (such as borrowing money, etc.) Leo's spend money like the world will end tomorrow, and they need everything RIGHT NOW!!! Forget saving and waiting, this sign invented the term instant grattification!! If you happen to be better looking or more popular than your Leo friend--look out they will drop you or try to steal your boyfriend/girlfriend just to show themselves that they are "better than you" when in reality they are not. They are usually their own biggest fan, and friends will usually secretly hate them because they are sooooo annoying. Leo's think you are just jealous, and the truth is they are the envious ones. They struggle with low self-esteem and that is why they buy extravagant things to make up for what mother-nature did not give them, or they lie to themselves and say it is not worth having to ease their self-inflicted pain.
