Poachers want to sell the snowy owl's pretty feathers, and its easier to kill them and take the feathers off than catching them and trying to pull off the feathers. They are listed as a species of least concern. The snowy owl is still fairly common over most of its range. Source: IUCN Redlist.

The main reason for the endangerment of these animals is most likely human activities. From collisions with power lines, fences, automobiles, and other such things to hunting the owls, the snowy owl has become endangered mostly through humans.

People hunt these beautiful birds because of their beautiful feathers.

PEOPLE NEED TO HELP THESE OWLS THEY ARE ENDANGERED FOR OUR GOOD , THIS IS NOT FAIR, IF YOU FIND THEM DEAD THAT'S FAIR ITS NOT RIGHT FOR US TO KILL THEM FOR OUR OWN GOOD.
