Cell membrane consist of phosholipid layres and have small pores in it aproximately of the size of 80nm which allows only those molecules which are smalles then this pore size. So it is semi or selective permeable.

Some molecules don't pass through the cell membrane and that is because they are either harmful to the cell or there is no purpose in storing it. Also as small molecules can easily fit through the pores, medium molecules have more difficulty, and large molecules can only enter with help from the cell.

It depends on what the molecule is, if it's proteins then they'll go through, but if it's a virus it won't. A virus can still pass through the cell membrane if it disguises its self as a protein.

proteins are bigger than RNA and DNA. those are the only things that can get through the cell wall. if the protein did get through, it would destroy the cell membrane and kill the cell. that cell being stagnant would make other cells stop doing their job and soon the organism would die too. by the way I'm 12. I'm a genius right? am i? 0-0

I think it is because protein molecules are too big to pass through the phospholipid Bilayer. They might have to pass through a carrier/channel protein of some sort...
