Why are ebony trees endangered?

Answer:

Answer:

Because it is a very widely used wood for musical instruments, furniture, decoration, etc. Harvests of the tree are not controlled so consequently once large ebony forests are slowly becoming a rarer and rarer find. This has increased its value and has only encouraged forestry of the ebony tree. Who knows, maybe one day I'll have to use plastic on my violins because ebony went extinct.
