Your "cool" talk has just landed you in trouble and it will for the rest of your life if you do not think before you speak and master the proper use of language. Telling anyone they "stink" sets off a whole range of negative connotations; despite the fact you were, in your own strange way, offering a compliment, your careless use of language has probably lost you a friend.

There were many ways to offer that same "compliment" that may have elicited a kiss instead of a rebuff.

Perhaps you might have said "That scent you are wearing is very nice," or "I like that perfume you have on."

I don't think you will find girls are so weird as you grow older, but you must learn to communicate effectively... or be very lonely in the future.
