makes them muuuuch more comfortable...as a guy, tight pants are just wrong in my opinion...two, when they took hold here in america, Sears and Roebuck offered the option for "cargo" pockest to be sewn into that baggy space, so more storage plus uve got to remember, the Brits had a big hand in introducing them into India where the style took hold...so there ya go...and we al know what kind of styles came from british designers...
