yes they are :) weird question... Well, some companies like bright colours to attract customers and most blue packets of chips are original! I think that's a good question! I remember from my childhood that Cheese & Onion always came in green packets, Salt & Vinegar in blue. The colour convention was instantly recognizable. For some unfathomable reason, most UK crisp manufacturers have now reversed the colourways: the crisp packets I grew up with now just look "wrong"! Color recognition has long been used by marketing experts to help consumers choose a product. Snack foods like chips /crisps are often sold on a whim and grabbed at the last minute. No time to read the packet to confirm they are Salt & Vinegar, just grab the blue packet. This also aids consumers who have difficulty reading or reading a foreign language. Once they recognize the color and shape they can easily buy what they want.
