Yes. There are active volcanoes that does not affect any one to this date. There has been others that has wiped out an entire civilization such as the case of the pompeian civilization completely devastated by a volcano.
No. Some are dormant (meaning they are basically inactive) and others are constantly erupting.
To prove a point, Hawaii IS a bunch of volcanoes. Hawaiians live there peacefully and have been for some time.
However, there are some volcanoes that have had eruptions so devastating that entire communities have been destroyed (if not worse).
Just because a volcano erupts doesn't mean everybody within "X" miles will die. Some may typically have smaller eruptions, but it can be difficult to say with 100% certainty when and how big of an eruption there will be.
Also, FYI, not all volcanoes erupt (or exist) above ground
There are three main classes of volcano that erupt in different ways.
Shield volcanoes are generally the least dangerous. They have broad, gentle slopes. Their eruptions usually are not explosive. Instead they generally ooze or fountain lava that turns into red hot lava flows. These lava flows can be destructive, but they usually move slowly, giving people plenty of time to escape.
Cinder cone volcanoes have steep slopes and are smaller than shield volcanoes. They erupt explosively, spewing out molten cinders and hot ash, which can be dangerous to people in the area.
Stratovolcanoes are the most dangerous. They are tall and steep-sided. Their eruptions are generally the most explosive producing clouds of hot ash and gas. Much of the ash rises high into the sky to rain down in the surrounding area. Some of it races down the slopes as hot avalanches called pyroclastic flows.
Volcanoes on convergent plate boundaries where subduction occurs erupt magma that is high in silica and increases the viscosity of the magma. This makes the magma sticky and thick so it often sticks to the inside of the vent causing a great build up of pressure. When eventually this pressure is released it causes a large and highly destructive eruption.
yes of course because some erupt more than others and erupt more than others
yes
I think any volcano is potentially dangerous. It was once thought that volcanoes were extinct but now scientist think volcanoes are active or dormant. So any volcanoe could erupt and be dangerous. Some are more likely to than others.
Volcanoes are more dangerous due to the volcanic ash that can travel to the atmosphere and cause strange weather patterns and can even kill crops causing some people to starve
Lava emissions are found with all active volcanoes, although some volcano emit more lave than others.
no in 1902 a man named charles william said all volcanoes are all dangerous
Well, all volcanoes create land, but explosive volcanoes also destroy land. Explosive volcanoes are explosive because they have a lot of gas and pressure inside them, and then the pressure suddenly drops. That's when the volcano starts erupting.

Because in some places there are tectonic plates that are colliding where others have little activity.

A real donkey is called a jack as in hell
Some are, not others.
Yes, many deserts have volcanoes. Some are active, some are dormant and others extinct.
some volcanoes are more active than others because some volcanoes lie on plate boundaries that move frequently which adds more pressure to the magma chamber where all of the lava is stored. Other volcanoes are formed but do not gain much pressure because they have been formed slowly or have errupted many times before and do not gain any more pressure. Some volcanoes are temperarily dormant which means they are not active. Some volcanoes have been dormant for hundreds of years because there is not enough pressure for the volcano to errupt. Hot countries may have an affect or volcanoes that started off very close to the epi-center of the earth, that has lava flowing up to the volcanoes frequently from there, which may set them off more. I hope this has answered your question.
yes some are

yes withdraw symptoms are dangerous to your baby, some withdraws are more dangerous than others, like xanax, you can take siezures from withdraws. it is all bad but i guess some are worst than others, according what you are withdrawing from?
