Normal tears that cover the corneal surface comprise three layers: the lipid, or oil layer, which is the outer layer of the tear film and helps prevent the lacrimal layer beneath it from evaporating or overflowing the lower eyelid the lacrimal, or watery layer, which is the middle layer and contains salts, proteins, and an enzyme called lysozyme that actually protect and nourish the eye the mucoid, or mucus layer, which is the bottom layer of tears. It contains cells called goblet cells that cause the tears to adhere to the eye.
becaus of the urea; CORRECTION: It's basic chemistry. Na+, Sodium, Salt (when combined with Cl-) The body never moves water, it moves elements.... then the water follows. So it's the Na+ that your body deposits to move sweat to the surface of the skin to cool the body. The water evaporates, the body is cooled, the salty taste is left until it is washed off.
All cells in the body have a certain amount of salt in them (called osmolarity).
The liquids surrounding the cell have the same amount of salt (called isotonic).
If the liquid had more salt, water would rush out of the cells the cell would shrivel up. If the liquid had less salt, like pure water, the water would rush into the cell and the cell would pop.
you may have fibers in your body that go with the sweat
Even though tears are salty, they don't burn your eyes like salt water does because the salt content is very low.
If you shave. Probably just irritation. Kind like razor burn. If you dont shave, probably should go get checked out

The kidneys maintain our water balance by producing urine of different concentrations.

The best and natural way I have found to reduce the redness in eyes that are due to an allergic reaction, is to do the following: * Put some hot water in a ceramic or glass bowl * Add some natural salt (dont add the salt which has the anti-caking agent/additive in it, just use natural fine grain rock salt) * Add enough salt to be the consistency of your tears (you should know how salty your tears taste - they have a slightly salty taste) * Mix the salt with the hot water until it is all dissolved (you can add a little more salt if it is too diluted - just taste a little with a spoon) * Add some cold water to the hot salty water to make the water tepid (just lukewarm) * Then you can cap your hand and use it to scoop some salty water out of the bowl to wash over your eye - you should be able to open your eye a little to get more of the water in there This eye wash is the best way I know to relieve red/gelatinous/itchy/allergic eyes.
yes you can. Because the water is clear it is possible if you dont have water proof sunscreen
