Why do slaves deserve freedom?

Kings and Queens had slaves so the slaves could build things for the king and Queen and do their work around their home so they didnt have to do the jobs. Rulers in the world wars would keep captured enemies as slaves to do work for them. basically what i am saying is slaves are here so people can make them do work for them.

slaves were need to do manual labour that at one point was see as too hard or unfitting for the higher class (mostly whites). slaves were also on of the driving factors that led to the improvement of the economy as the provided the necessary crops to sustain the country and enable trade.

All humans deserve the right to determine their own future and how far they wish to go in life. No man or Government should have the right to decide what you wear, eat and do. They do not have the right to decide how much you should make or what you should do.

Today their is a new slavery. Not like the historic slavery we still see in the Sudan, or in parts of Africa. We are seeing people become slaves to Government. How many people live in Government subsidized housing at the discretion and whim of their Governments? Their income is taxed and redistributed to others to keep them from obtaining their highest goals.

It is sad that in the case of the United States, we have rid ourselves of one form of slavery only to enslave through our Government.

Africa is where there were slaves for sale. African tribes and kingdoms frequently went to war with each other and the losers were captured and sold into slavery. Black people sold each other as slaves to other black people and to Arabs for many hundreds of years before white people colonized the Americas. When white plantation owners wanted to save money, they went to Africa to buy slaves from African kingdoms because that's where there were lots of slaves for sale.
