I visited mount Etna in 2008 and was mystified to find so many ladybirds at the top of the mountain clustered into the old cold lava. Can anyone tell me why they are there, and are they getting any mineral from the lava? Brenda Young.
Etna has been climbed any number of times. It's not particularly high and unless the volcano is acting up there are Tourist trips that takes you into hiking distance of the top.
Krakatau has erupted many times.... it's biggest and most important was in 1883
Not sure yet- but we are about to try it in a Lancia Ypsilon in feb so will let you know when (or if) I get back....
positivethat after a year, the lava flows give more crops and keeps everyone back on track!negative-the lava flows are hazardous-destroys a lot of crops-killed more than 20,000 people and left more homeless***THERE ARE SO MANY DISADVANTAGES AND ONE ADVANTAGE ABOUT MOUNT ETNA! TOO MUCH TO LIST!!***
mt etna first erupted on 1500BC so you do the math its last eruption was in 2008
so they can learn more things about it.

The 1669 eruption of Mount Etna killed 20,000 people. The death rate was so high because citizens refused to leave their city before the eruption occurred.
Eyjafjallajokull is the real name. NOT Stromboli and definitely not Etna ...Don't be naive to these fools! The name Eyjafjallajokull is in Iceland.
I think it has 5.
I presume you mean Malta. Mount Etna is just across the water in Sicily so its effect on Malta depends on wind direction.
Ladybugs eat aphids so any plant that has aphids could eventually see ladybugs.
Yes Ladybugs do live together so they can reproduce(S*X)
