Why are upper and lower egypt in different locations?In: Egypt, Africa, Ancient Egypt

There is no reason as to why they are in different locations just like we have North and South America.
The river Nile seprates the two regions. In the ancient egypt in the north we had Upper Egypt and in the south we had lower egypt. Bothe regiosn were later on united under tha pharaoh in 3000 B.C
