You shouldn't inhale cigars because they are high in alkaline and high in nicotine, and inhaling will make you cough. You can enjoy the flavor of a cigar without inhaling because the nicotine is absorbed by the mucous membranes of the nose and mouth. (Cigarette smoke being acid, it is almost exclusively absorbed in the lungs.)
So the smoke does not go into your lungs and so you can get a better taste. It's like wine tasting.
Cigar are to be tasted and enjoyed
You are not supposed to inhale a cigar. But even at that a small amount will enter the lungs.
Yes you can. It's not good for you. You won't like it. You do not need to inhale a good cigar to enjoy it.
No. Just don't inhale.
There might be 4 times the tobacco. 4 cigarettes are worse for you than 1 cigar. Most people don't inhale cigar or pipe smoke, so it drastically decreases the chances of cancer of the lungs or throat, especially if it's only 1 cigar.
they are both very harmful to your body, but yes a cigar is worse than a cigarette, this because more chemicals are put into making a cigar and they are larger, the chemicals in the cigar produce more smoke fumes and tar, to smoke a cigar you have to inhale deeper than a cigarette so the harmful chemicals get further into your lungs.
That would be what we used to call a "bong" The water cools the smoke, allowing you to inhale more of it. Used for pot or marijuana.
No a dog can't smoke a cigar.
Not deadly, some people do. I would not recommend it. You certainly do not need to in order to enjoy the cigar. And yes, inhaling cigar smoke is nearly as bad for as as inhaling cigarette smoke .
A man smoking a cigar?
There really isn't an equivalency because of the way they're smoked. When you smoke cigarettes you inhale, so you get all the good carbon monoxide and other fun chemicals in your lungs, and into your blood. Plus, cigarette smoke is acidic and it seems that pH affects the addictive quality of nicotine.
It's the pH of the smoke. Nicotine is addictive if it enters your body in an acidic carrier. Cigarette smoke is acidic, so its nicotine is addictive. (The acidity also prevents the nicotine from being absorbed through the walls of your mouth, so you need to inhale cigarette smoke to get the effect.) Cigar smoke is alkaline, so it can enter your body through the walls in your mouth and it's not addictive. There's also the part about cigars being so expensive you can't afford to get addicted to them, but that's a side issue. - - - - - I may be wrong here, but as far as I know, you aren't supposed to inhale cigars like you are with cigarettes. And then you won't inhale the nicotine either.
If they're looking for Cotinine--IOW if they want to see if you smoke tobacco--a Costa Rican cigar, or any other cigar, will make you fail. If they are NOT testing for cotinine you can smoke all the Costa Rican cigars you want. And since they're supposed to be excellent cigars, if you can find any go for it.
