They don't just appear on your legs, but maybe most commonly there if you are athletic. Bruises can appear on the elbows from possibly extreme sports or sliding down the banister. Eyes can bruise in a fight. Bruises can appear on butt cheeks when Snowboarding.

∙ 13y agoYou should go get blood labs done at your doctors office. Bruising - especially on the legs - can be a sign of Leukemia. Don't panic, though, as it could also be a sign of much less dangerous things, such as an iron deficiency, sleeping problems, even a bad mattress.

∙ 12y agoI always wake up with mysterious bumps and bruises on my legs, my problem is though I usually bang my legs on things and fall than forget about it. If you are worried about it though I would suggest going to have your blood taken, if you bruise easily like that you could be anemic!
