This will be a state called anemea or generally called anemic. It is the lack of nutrients the tree is getting. Generally in orange they are not getting enough manganese. This is all dependant on how the leaves are turning yellow though. A trained arborist like myself would have no problem letting you know if he saw the leaves.

Probably not enough water, humidity or your water has a high "salt" content to it. a lot of plants will store this excess salt in the tips and the tips of the leaves will brown up.

A palm tree turning yellow can be a sign of over fertilization. If is also one of the symptoms of over watering. It may recover if you allow it to dry out between watering.

Too much water. palm is from desert needs soil to be dry but not so dry the plant gets weak- if it has too much water put it out side to dry in sun or repot it
