Why aren't there more Dallas Cowboys in the Hall of Fame since they have been in eight Super Bowls and won five?

The Cowboys have 16 individuals in the HoF. Bob Hayes is a finalist for the Hall this year. Certainly, Emmitt Smith will be added to that list shortly, as well as Darren Woodson (hopefully). I imagine that Neon Deion Sanders and Larry Allen will pretty much be locks to make it in. That number of 16 could be 21 before you know it. That is quite of few Hall of Famers for a team that has only been around for 49 years.
Michael Irvin is about be in the HOF and we can be fairly certain that Emmet Smith and Troy Aikman will follow shortly on the offensive side of the ball. Don't be surprised if Darren Wooson is added, among others, on the defensive side of the ball in the next five plus years. Many of these excellent players from the Jimmy Johnson era only recenlty retired. Some are still playing. Jimmy Johnson will likely be added to the hall too. A little patience and you'll see the numbers increase dramatically.
troy aikman is a nominee for the HOF. emmitt smith will soon be one too. he just retired so you gotta wait a couple of years. but trust me, emmitt will only have to be on the ballot one time and he'll get in
