Muslims can't drink alcohol because it is against the religion. Allah stated, "O you who believe! Intoxicants and gambling... Is an abomination of Satan's handiwork. So, avoid the abomination in order that you be successful."
For many reasons. Most important of them is that it is an explicit God command; in Quran and per prophet Muhammad (PBUH) teachings; for not drinking alcohols. It is forbidden in all God religions. It is proved also that drinking alcohol is harmful to health and mind and self control.
Muslims don't drink alcohol because it is "haram", i.e. forbidden in Islam. For one, it harms the body. Secondly, it causes one to lose control of oneself and possibly do things they wouldn't normally do, such as rape, murder, etc. That is why Muslims don't drink alcohol.
Muslims are not allowed to drink as it intoxicates the mind and leaves them in no control of their own body.

∙ 12y agoWater must be drunk in three separate breaths. In other words, the cup should be removed from the mouth after a sip, a breath taken and then drunk again. This method of drinking is very beneficial for quenching the thirst. When water enters the hot thirsty stomach in intervals, the second sip of water will quench the thirst left by the first, and the third will quench the thirst of the first two. This method will change the temperature of the stomach gradually. Sudden change of temperature inside the stomach is not desirable. When water is drunk in one sip, the gases in the stomach will ascend causing flatulence and stomachache.
Drinking of water in three sips is doubly beneficial for those who live in hot regions; the method will help cool their internal system. An example to understand this concept better when one pours water on a boiling pot, it will not decrease its temperature significantly.
Prophet Mohammed (A.S.) himself was endowed with great knowledge. He had a great logical and scientific mind, which enabled Him to empirically advise the Umma on proper prophylaxis and prevention. He even advised on benefits of certain medications and certain natural remedies. Some of these are admittedly dealt in this feature which is advocated for us to practice."
