Here is a common complaint: "I placed a question on your site a couple days ago, and now it is gone. I didn't ever see the answer to the question. Is it only up for a limited time, or is there a place I can go to on the site to retrieve the question and any answers that may have been submitted?" There are a few reasons a message could be gone: * If it was substantially similar to another question, your question may have been merged into the other question. * Your question might have been moved to a different category. We might have thought your question fit better elsewhere. Moreover, we might have created a new category after you posted your question and moved it to the new location. Use the search engine to search for your question. * Some questions are significantly edited in an effort to make our FAQs more universally applicable. Ideally, what we're creating is something useful for you as well as other people who have similar questions. We might have chosen to modify your question so it would be easy for others to understand and apply to their own circumstances. * We also delete some questions because they are illegal, obscene, or otherwise violate our Terms of Service. This is unlikely in most cases but it's not uncommon.
If you ask your own questions, you should get the answer you're looking for after a while, (as long as you asked properly without any spelling or grammar errors) and make sure you set the option to receive a notification when someone answers your question.
Make sure you choose the correct category to put your question in ! Somebody will answer it in time and you will receive an email notification. If your question has already been asked onsite and/or been answered you will be directed to it immediately.
You can't find the right answer you are looking for because people find the answers and put them on here. Sometimes the question they are asking aren't yours. I know how it feels when you can't find the answer, cause i can't find the answer i looking for either. Some times if you know the answer put it on here and help someone out. And submit your answer so next time it might be on here.
In order to see the question you have asked, you'll need to do one of the following:
There are several ways to find a question:

You can retype your question and then see if there is an answer for it
Easiest way. Go to the blue sidebar. Click on "my contributions". Filter to questions asked. You will find your question and hopefully the answer to it there.
If the question has been answered, you will find it under the original question you asked. If you want faster answers, you can try asking the same question in different ways, sometimes someone has already asked the same question and received an answer already.
