Why can't you use acoustic guitar strings on an electric guitar?

∙ 11y agoElectric guitars require strings with a higher vibration and less sound so that they can be "felt" by their pickups. Acoustic guitars can use different types because their sound is produced through the acoustics of the hollow wood. Most electric guitars are not hollow.

it could vary from slight pitches or other small things but ultimately it only has one sound.
the Electric Guitar has probably over 100.000 very different sounds.
