Cans have been sealed with the food inside them in a protective environment, after opening them O2 comes in contact with the food and also with the tin which will start going rusty abd contaminate the food you will eat, take care!!!
Yes there is a chemical reaction between the aluminum and the oxygen. If you eat from the tin you could be giving yourself food poisoning.
This has to be one of the most unscientific answers I have ever read. You have mentioned three different materials... Tin is an element of its own, aluminum is completely different to this and for a metal to get rusty it must have iron in it.
Food poisoning is generally caused by bacteria not metals.
We still dnont have an answer that explains anything.
They dont make cans out of tin anymore, the inside of a can is coated with some lamination, you can keep things in an open can in the fridge, they even sell plastic covers to keep it fresher
Yes, unless it is oppen then it is safe for the same amount of time as ordinary food.
Once the tin can is open, you mustn't put this back in the refrigerator...the aluminum and oxygen have a chemical reaction and if you eat from this, you could be giving yourself food poisoning.
They can be stored in the can still, but only if you cover and refrigerate it.
The minute you open a can you a release and vacuum seal that keeps the food from spoiling (that along with preservatives). If you leave the food out in the can after its been open it would be the same as leaving it out as if it had never been canned.
Yes, an open can cause other foods to mold quicker than usual. The smell of whatever is in the can also seep into the whole refrigerator and other foods.
because if you open it and leave it out then it will go flat
Dries the food out to keep them open.
Yes.
No! But a tin can.
It is only dangerous if the can has been opened. It is very unwise to store an opened tin can in the fridge. Nasty bacterial growth.
Sealed in the tin? Usually a year or two. Once the tin has been opened, and assuming that the unused portion is being kept refrigerated, no more than a week.
... only for a few days. The metal of the tin starts creating poisonous substances by reacting with the food in the presence of air. Also the food may start "growing"!
Unopened cans can last for 2 to 3 years. If the can is opened, that will only last about 3 days. If kept in an airtight container and in the refrigerator. once opened, it's best to eat the whole tin full. a tin is equal to, one small serving, not worth saving. good emergency food.
Cooked Beets can be stored in the fridge up to 1 week.
There is not usually an expiration date on the a tin of popcorn. This product is usually good for 10 to 21 days after opened.
Tin is a good heat conductor. So to keep hot water in a tin can hot you need to insulate the outside and bottom of the can with something that does not absorb heat but instead contains it next to the can.
Tin makes tin cans, and melted tin could make window glass. Also Tin gas been known since ancient times.
It helps keep out moisture.
Of Course
yes if you keep it in the tin
