because the moon is natural in night it is there in up sky it is god gift for natural light in night we should thank to god for giving moon.

All the planets, asteroids, comets, and moons that we see in the solar system are

visible because the sun shines on them, exactly the same as shining a flashlight

onto a bunch of rocks in a dark room in order to see them.

The moon doesn't give off it's own light. The sun reflects off of it therefore the moon seems like it's lighting up by itself.

No Earth isn't the biggest inner planet. Venus is. Even though it is hotter it is bigger than all of the other inner planets.

How is Ceres similar to earth?

Both planets are known to have water in them (ceres has a mantle made of water and ice) and both are spherical. Also they are both planets (even though ceres is a dwarf planet, they are still planets). Thats about it.

How do you see all the planets solar system even though they do not make a light?

the reason you can see the planets in our solar system is because, they reflect the suns light off of their atmosphere or sufrace.

What are the tiny planets?

Objects that are smaller than planets are called "dwarf planets"; even smaller objects are called "asteroids".

How is the formation of stars different from the formation of planets?

Planets are pieces of material that orbit a star such as the earth orbits the sun. Stars are 'suns' and are distributed throughout the universe. Stars are much larger than planets hence the reason that at night stars can be seen in the sky and planets cant even though the stars are much futher away than the other planets in our solar system.

Why are the planets visible enough even though they are not light sources?

-.-.... umm sunlight reflects off the planets and is shot back to earth.

Why is the moon non-luminous even though it gives off light?

The Moon does not produce light of its own. It only reflects some of the light from the Sun.

How do you see the moon and planets even though they don't produce light?

How are moon and planets are visible even if they are not luminous?

For the same reason that a rock is visible even though the rock is not luminous. Some source of light, such as a flashlight, illuminates the rock, and some of thelight from the flashlight bounces off of the rock in just the right direction to enteryour eye.Similarly, in our neighborhood, some source of light, such as a flashlight, illuminatesthe moon and the planets, and some of the light from the flashlight bounces offof the moon and planets in just the right direction to enter our eyes. The Sun is that source of light.
