1.Because some kids just aren't raised to have manners. 2. They like to get on everyone's nerves. 3.They have so much energy they get it out by acting stupid.

A:

While the above comment can be true at times, I feel that children ( And immature adults) have a huge apatite for attention. When they don't seem to get enough positive attention to match their craving or starvation, they then act out and as a result get negative attention. To attention junkies, negative attention is better than none.

Misbehaving is simply a cry for help.

Answer:

Misbehaving is "human nature." Man's carnal nature is "selfishness" and naturally rebellious to authority of any kind.

"...Because the carnal (natural) mind is enmity (hostile) against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." (Rom.8:7)

In the early ages of child development children develop a way of thinking that consists of the world revolving around them. They think the sun rises because they are awake and the sun sets so they can go to sleep. It is around this age when they are most likely to disobey, because if they are told an answer that does not fit what they expect or want they will often not do as they are told.

In the later ages of development, mainly in the teens, children will disobey due to the fact that they want to rebel. Teens often feel that they are smarter then their parents, and that the parents should have no say over what they do. Teens do not like to have rules to follow, so when they are given some, they will often disobey.

children do not respect their parents because children do not like to be told what to do and what they are doing wrong you must show them who is boss.

Answer:

Parents do not get respect as their right, it must be earned not commanded. Parents who abuse their children, lie, cheat, steal or are not honorable do not deserve respect.

When used properly, children are punished to show them that certain types of behavior are not acceptable in general society. The theory is that if certain behavior results in them, for example, having to go to bed early, they will soon stop behaving that way.

Since young children have not reached maturity, they are not usually able to be taught a lesson simply by sitting them down and having a quiet chat, pointing out the reasons why they should not do a certain thing.

Sometimes punishment may be necessary for their own protection. For example, if a young child keeps sticking a knife into an electrical outlet, just telling them they could be hurt is not a very effective deterrent. In such a situation, even punishment as severe as a good spanking may be necessary (it's certainly better than your child dying from electrocution!)

Punishment can be (and unfortunately, often is) misused, in some cases bordering on abuse. Taking to a child with a leather belt because they didn't say please when they asked for a cookie is obviously not the way to go about it.
