Why computers shutdown abruptly after 15 min when on browsing?

There are two explanations to this. You may have some sort of virus that is attacking your system causing it to shut down. Remember that malicious code can make your computer do some wacky stuff. The other thing that could be wrong is that your power supply is going bad. It depends, though, on how old the computer is. Usually a power supply goes bad after about 5-7 years of near-continuous use. If there are other symptoms, like your computer randomly turns on, or the CD-ROM tray opens, than this is most definitely the problem.
