Because she had been kinda cranky all morning and was disappointed at the fact that Walter wanted to use the money for a liquor store rather than a better home in a different place which is what she wanted.

In the play, Walter has just finished discussing his dreams with Ruth. He feels a sense of frustration with the quality of his life, his job, his house, and so on. He has just asked her whether she feels the same way. When he doesn't get the response he wants, he asks her what's wrong with her, basically expressing to her that he needs his family to share his goals (and his frustration).
