I would like to know the answer to this, too. I think right now, it's impossible to find a 60" LED HDTV on the market.

If the question refers to an LED illuminated LCD television, there will be several hundred individual LEDs forming a single panel. A true LED television uses a separate LED for red, green, and blue dots at every pixel. A 1920 x 1080 pixel television has just over 2,000,000 pixels. Each one needs a red, a green and a blue LED so there will be a total of 6,220,800 LEDs making up the image.

Yes and I recommend Samsung or Sony. Middle of the road or top of the line. If bang for the buck is what you are after then check out Samsung LED/DLP , 61" and 67" tv's at BestBuy. And no one but no can beat the picture quality of a top of the line Sony. What I am presenting here is Tv's that are , LCD , LED/LCD and LED/DLP. Compared to light bulb , LED lights last a very long time , and have more pure color and have a brighter light and use less electric.
Flat panel TVs (whether you need the space or not) have dropped so much in cost-per-inch that rear projection sets of any technology are aesthetically obsolete.
A DLP lamp may need to be replaced because it may have become faded or have burnt out. DLP lamps are often used in HDTV, LED and LCD televisions for picture quality.
As far as I know Samsung is the best in making televisions.
Samsung's LED monitors deliver a visually stunning picture quality that leaves you speechless. Just as you've seen in Samsung LED TV's, the Samsung .
The Samsung 55" 1080 LED HDTV does not come in white.
A Samsung 55 in led TV is great for gaming. These TVs are in High Definition and on a big screen so details in games would be great on the Samsung 55 led TV .
I am sure Amazon.com has Samsung LED Televisions that are 60 inches. Here in Michigan Sears has Samsung LED Televisions which are 60 inches also. BestBuy seems to be a good option also.
The LCD is good but doesn't come in true 1080i resolution. An LED-DLP would work the best as it has darker blacks and overall better quality.
Most TV sizes are even numbers, commonly found in 32 inches and 42 inches, but Samsung has 37 inch LED TVs available. This size is a bit of a compromise making it smaller than the 42 inch TV but also lighter and easier to manage. A big appeal of Samsung TVs is the display. When you buy Samsung you are buying a TV that is thinner lighter and easier to mount. The odd duck 37 inch size gives people an extra option on how and where to display their TV.
Samsung offers quite a few 55" televisions. Among them are the LED 6100 and LED 6150 both of the Smart TV series, the LED 6070, LED 6300, LED 6350, LED 6800, LED 7050, and LED 7100 of the TV Series
