Why did the Illuminati kill Tupac and Biggie?

The real Illuminati organization broke up in 1785.

The imaginary Illuminati has anyone in it that a Conspiracy Theorist wants it to. Please take note that "no living person* has ever been proven in a court of law to be an Illuminati. If they don't like someone, or envy their success, they simply say so-and-so is an Illuminati.

One unsupported hypothesis is that the Illuminati, a group that supposedly believes in the devil, killed Pac and Big because they were converting back to Christ and started speaking out against them. Nothing has been proven and there are other hypotheses.

There was no need to kill him; simply waiting for his next conviction, and piling on a long prison term, would do as well.

As far as I know, there is no way to prove the Illuminati did kill him. But, there is a way to prove that they did not; the Illuminati exist in fiction, and fictitious characters are not capable of killing real people.

Probably not. Unless of course one of them stumbled across the secret of time travel, jumped ahead 200 years, learned to use modern firearms, and for some reason had an act to grind with an American rap performer. The Illuminati has not existed since the 18th century.
