This was so because Children was unfit to work and the Nazis didn't wanted space wasted by unfit workers. The only children who survived the camps were twins because the doctors did experiments on 1 child and see what happens, see if theirs any side effects compared to the 2nd child but if the twin died, then the nazis killed the 2nd twin.
