I don't think this is a valid question. Britain was at war with Germany from September 1939, the US only after Pearl Harbour. So the US did not "choose" Britain as an ally, we simply ended up with common enemies, ie Germany and Japan.
Between September 1939 and when the US entered the war, Britain had very little help from the US, which stayed neutral in this period, and would probably have stayed that way if Japan had not attacked. In that case it would have been doubtful if Britain could have defeated Germany. Apart from being 2 countries separated by a common language..... The US did help Britain considerably before Pearl Harbor, Lend-Lease was crucial. The policy of defeat Germany first was also necessary, not just for Britains aid, but that of Russia and the whole of occupied Europe. Although the effort put into D Day by the British was immense, I agree with the above, the British couldn't have done that alone. Europe would be a very different place without the US joining the war.
Well the Iroquois ar native Americans along with the British and they started to trade with the Mohawk (Iroquois )
because they didn't have any other name to steal
or because they are lazy to make one
France was an Ally of Britain in World War 2,So there couldn't have been a war between them. Although it was occupied by the Nazi's from around 1940-1945.
The Iroquois confederacy called themselves "Powerful group of Native Americans".
They allied because they wanted a fur trade just like how the French were allied with the Hurons. To be more specific, they allied themselves with the Iroquois Confederacy. Reference from AP US History Textbook
France they would ally themselves with anybody who was fighting the British.
In the Revolutionary War Period of America's history, the Iroquois generally favored alliances with Great Britain rather than the American colonists for one fundamental reason: the British were less of a threat than the colonists were, which is to say that they had more to gain from helping the British than helping the nascent "Americans." The British cannily garnered Iroquois support by also supplying them with arms and other helpful resources.
The most of the Iroquois decided to ally with the British. Other tribes in the area allied with the French or stayed neutral. Other than the French Iroquois, the rest allied with the British during the French and Indian War. They also were paid by the British for taking scalps of Americans that ventured west of the Appalachian Mountains.
the Iroquois currently call themselves the Haudenausonees which means "people of the longhouse"

Iroquois
During the French and Indian War, the Iroquois sided with the British against the French and their Algonquin allies, both traditional enemies of the Iroquois. The Iroquois hoped that aiding the British would also bring favors after the war
The Iroquois were totally against the British and French people, so they made them angry and started a war called, the Iroquois Wars/Beaver Wars.
