Why did the dinosaurs die? |

Opinions
- Irridium from a comet strike (it's a heavy metal).
- the main theory is that an asteroid hit the earth, killing all the dinosaurs.
- because the disappearance of almost every species of dinosaur was very rapid, it is assumed that there was a major global catastrophe like an asteroid as mentioned above or a colossal volcanic eruption.
- it was their size. Being so large made them vulnerable to perturbations in their environment, because they required lots of food and their populations would have been relatively smaller than the tiny, rat-sized mammals, which made it through the mass extinction.
