McDonald's has become so large, and so successful, because it has taken every aspect of fast food and created a process for it. These processes have lead to consistent quality of service, and allowed it to duplicate itself easily over and over to where it is the world's largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurants.
If you are looking for a job just to earn a little cash, you will often learn a little more from working for a larger company. I have worked at many small companies, as well as large companies over the years. I have learned far more about business and management from working for a larger company.
If I were at a job interview for McDonald's, or advising someone who was going to a job interview for McDonald's, I would state that not only I am here to earn some cash for a part time job, but I am here to learn as much as I can about a company as successful as McDonald's.
Love it or hate it, McDonald's is a very successful corporation.
because if you have no other job choice its your last resort
Why did I apply for McDonald's?
Easy; to get a job and therefore earn some money
because lots of people go to McDonald's so you will earn a lot of money
I Get Paid

Good question.... any HP insiders like to answer the related question.... "Would I want to work for HP?"

It depends on what you want to do. If all you want to do is work the counter...judging by some of the McDonalds employees in my area, you need 98.6 degrees to work there and not a heck of a lot more. If you aspire to being a district manager for McDonalds, or to work in their headquarters, you'd be wise to get an MBA.
That's a standard question found on almost every employment application form - not just McDonalds. It's designed to get the applicant to think of positive reasons why they chose to apply to their particular company instead of (perhaps) a rival - and why they actually want to work there. The only person who can give an answer to this question is you ! We in the Wiki community could make suggestions, but they would be our suggestions. You need to answer the question yourself, truthfully and thoughtfully.

I'm not exactly sure what your question is, but I suppose that in this scenario that would be why you are asking it. ;-) Why do I want to work? Why do you want to work? Why does he/she/it want to work? Why do we want to work? Why do they want to work? I hope any of the the above answers will help.
This would be a question asking during an interview to work for an airline company , they want to know why you would be passionate about working for their company.
McDonalds
