The Social Security office will need to look up your case to see why your check came on the third of the month instead of the third Wednesday of the month. If you began receiving SSI payments then this would change the day of payment.

∙ 10y agoThere are a few reasons why someone that normally receives their Social Security check on the third Wednesday of the month might receive it on the third of the month instead. If there are any garnishments or other payments made, it will change the date of the payment.
