An 80GB drive will hold more video then a 60GB drive assuming the video is the same bitrate, resolution, format, etc.
in theory, a bare (no apps) 80 gb will hold 20 gigs more than a bare 60 gb. if you hacked your iPod and flooded it with apps or just added a crap load of photos, then your 80 gb would have less space to allow for video
it depends on the quality of the video put on the iPod, but yes, I think you could. it depends on the quality of the video put on the iPod, but yes, I think you could. it depends on the quality of the video put on the iPod, but yes, I think you could.
The 16GB iPod Nano can hold 16 hours of video at the default settings of H.264 1.5-Mbps video at 640-by-480 resolution combined with 128-Kbps audio. The actual capacity varies slightly depending on the content of the video; dark shots with less detail take less space then well lit shots with lots of detail/action.
Depending on how many songs and photos you want to hold on the ipod aswell as video it can more or less, but if you had no songs and no photos it would be capable of holding between 10 and 20 HOURS of video. So depending on how long the movies go for,if they went for 2 hours each you could have beween 5 and 10 movies... Hope this is the answer you were looking for........
ipod nanos are more fragile the itouchs and hold less music and are extremely limited
You can use more videos and less songs or vice versa
Well, the iPod Nano is a smaller version of iPod and holds less songs because the storage isn't so big. The regular iPods have more storage. If you are looking to hold a lot of songs, I would go with the regular iPod.
The difference in the iPod Nano is it holds less content. It also has a smaller screen. I would suggest the iPod classic (the new version of iPod videos) if you are wanting to buy an iPod. Now there is also the iPod Nano that is a video too. If you do not have more than 2000 songs in your library and would also like videos on your iPod than i would suggest that. :)
then it will hold less songs
The iPod Touch offers slightly less space than other iPods because the OS that is installed on it is larger. It takes a more developed to be able to handle Wi-Fi and web browsing than it does to just handle media files. The OS for a Touch takes about about 700 Megabytes (MB). This is the same regardless of the size. So you can do the math to find out how many songs each sized iPod Touch will hold. It can hold up to 1,750 songs, 10,000 digital photos or 10 hours of video.
There is no standard size for video because you understand when I say a 3 hrs long movie take more space then a 30 seconds clip. Another factor is the quality: a FullHD movie or clip will use up more space than the same clip in conventional definition. There is also other factors, but they are less likely to happen. The Apple Web Site reports that you can store up to one hour of video per gigabyte (for movies).
Slightly less than 8000 songs, 28000 photos and 32 hours of video.
It depends on the size of the iPod hard drive. 8 gigabytes ipods hold around two thousand songs, while others might hold more. It also depends on the model of the iPod, because some iPods have more capacity when there are less extra features.
