Your door is misaligned in some way. Check for bending or dislocation of the following items, listed from easiest to hardest to repair: Weatherstripping Latch and post Hinges Door frame (requires body shop) Car frame (scrap the car)

The lock on the top of the drivers door acts as the power lock switch for the crv, open (up) and close (down) while in the car. To lock all doors from outside the car hold open inside door handle and push down lock on top of door. All doors should lock. Close door.
Push all the door locks down manually and then lock the drivers door with your key if it will not stay locked when you push the lock down and shut the door.
My 2006 Mercedes all i have to do is push on the fuel door and it should release and when the car is on lock down it won't open until you unlock the car.
The door unlock button also unlocks the fuel door. Then, just push on the side of the fuel door closest to the front of the car.
You have to lock the car with a key. You can't push the lock down with the door open if you have power locks. They do this so that you can't lock your keys in the car.
If it's a hatchback or stationwagon crawl in through the back. If not get a Slim Jim and slide it down in between the window and weather seal. When you feel the bar inside the door that disengages the door handle push down on it to release the clamp that holds the door closed. Then pull the door open.
Have you tryed to put a screwdriver in the "hole" where the door striker would go and as you pull the handle up push the screwdriver out. As if you were going throught the motions of the door opening but the screwdriver acts as the striker.
Lift the door from the bottom if you can move it up and down your bolts on the door to hinge bolts could be loose or the main pin that hold the door hinge from the car and door may have elongated the hole making the door drop down.

you can realing a car doorby removing the door form the body of the car. then have two friends hold the door up to where you want it to be then carfuly reatach the door using all of the right tools and right parts. the door should be put in the right way and not bee crooked if all of the bolts and attachments are put on right and tight. Or you can try this, put the door back on, but do not tighten completely, tighten it just enough for the door to hold on it's own as well as you to be able to adjust the door up or down as needed without the help of others. See, the idea is to be able to adjust the door as needed, up, or down then closing it gently at first so to see that the door is aligned and closing properly. if not, then push the door, either up, or down then close it again. You may have to do this a few times before you are satisfied, (Besides this it how the professionals align their doors after a repair.)
